QA APPLICATIONS ANALYST II
This candidate would work on a highly skilled team able to work
independently and with other product team members.
' Work as part of a team to identify, analyze, re****t and track
defects. ' Create, do***ent and execute functional and system test
strategies. ' Review requirement do***ents, functional specifications
as a basis for test planning and execution. ' Work closely with the
Development team to identify, verify and resolve bugs. ' Recognize
system-wide issues, application design issues and UI consistency
issues. ' Function in the role of a customer, anticipating problems as
the customer would see them. ' Contribute to improving our QA
processes and testing efficiency. ' Work under accelerated software
development cycles and help ensure that software meets standards of
quality and are delivered on time. ' Other/additional responsibilities
at manager's discretion or as required to sup****t business processes.
Insure completion of all work assignments in accordance with an
established project timeline.
Provide project-specific direction and guidance to project team
members to facilitate timely and quality results.
Establish and create a positive project team environment through
leader****p and mentoring.
Provide on-going project status re****ts to internal IS management,
user groups and project steering committee as appropriate.
Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree required.
Minimum 2 years testing/development experience.
Knowledge of Software QA principles and methodologies with a high
commitment to quality.
Experience writing test cases, functional and regression testing.
Experience executing test cases for manual testing.
Experience using defect tracking systems.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong oral, written and interpersonal skills.
Ability to interact with people from all organizational levels and
build consensus through negotiation and diplomacy.
Ability to understand the work environment and competing priorities in
conjunction with developing/meeting project goals.
Ability to plan and manage a project, its tasks, dependencies, team
members, other resources and timeline; and to prioritize and delegate
accordingly.
Strong PC skills required, knowledge of PC applications, e.g.,
Microsoft Office Suite and Project, PowerPoint preferred.
Ability to be flexible, versatile and adaptable in day to day
activities conducted in a multi-site environment.
