Senior Quality Engineer
Job Description: Position Summary: Sustaining Engineering is defined
as projects to correct problems or make other improvements to existing
products, as well as implement projects that fall below the scope of
our New Product Development process. Products include our printer
systems and our many identification materials. This position will also
track and re****t the quality performance of our printer systems,
identify problems, and work with the Sustaining Engineering team to
implement corrective actions to assure robustness of product and
processes.
This includes the following duties and responsibilities:
=B7 Provides quality engineering sup****t to the sustaining engineering
team to apply quality and reliability tools and techniques such as:
Design of Experiments (DOE); Process Capability; Product Testing for
Validation, and Reliability and Life testing.
=B7Analyze field quality data to identify trends and problems, drive
corrective action.
=B7Assist in the development of product and component specifications.
=B7Plan and execute testing to validate changes.
=B7Perform product and process audits of current products and processes,
including product performance benchmark testing.
=B7Sup****t Supplier quality problem resolution.
=B7Identify and help execute ideas for process and business system
improvements.
=B7Other duties as required.
Job Requirements: We are seeking a candidate with a minimum of a
Bachelors degree in Engineering,or related field, that has a minimum
of 5 years experience. Statistical skills in SPC and Capability
Studies, DOE and Reliability. Hands-on, ability to set up new test
procedures. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. 'Systems
Thinker' to integrate our hardware, software and materials. Ability to
lead the training and implementation of quality and problem-solving
tools. Ability to read drawings, knowledge of GD&T. Time management
skills, able to set priorities across a multiple projects. Strong
leader****p, communication, planning, analyzing, influencing and
organizational skills. Able to set, monitor and drive improvement.
HIGHLY DESIRABLE: Knowledge of SAP CQE, CRE, or Six Sigma Black Belt
