Architecture
QUALIFICATIONS Must have ability to lead the design,
development and implementation of data warehouse solutions. Must be
able to define detail design specifications, and develop long-term
plans to meet project objectives. Ability to design, code, test,
debug, do***ent and maintain Siebel Analytics applications. Must be
able to work on several phases of systems design and implementation
for multiple projects simultaneously. Must be able to communicate
with vendors and end users to resolve complex issues, and perform
day-to-day operational sup****t functions, including application
server administration. Requires excellent analytical, problem
solving, and communication skills.
Technical qualifications:
=B7 2+ years of hands-on experience with Siebel Analytics 7.x
tools including Siebel Analytics Administration Tool and Siebel
Answers
=B7 Experience with customizing OOTB Siebel Analytics
repository, dashboards, and re****ts.
=B7 Ability to translate business requirements to Siebel
Analytics technical requirements and specifications.
=B7 Experience of Siebel Analytics software components
installation
=B7 Knowledge of Siebel OLAP schema a plus
=B7 B.A./B.S. in CS/CIS/IS/MIS or related field or equivalent
required.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
1=2E Perform advanced monitoring, hardware, software and
operational sup****t of Siebel Analytics applications in a 24 x 7,
on-call, information technology environment.
2=2E Manage development projects to successful completion
while acing as the technical lead on the project.
3=2E Create technical specifications based on current
business process and interviews with user groups and sup****ting
staff while aligning design and implementation trade-offs with
project goals.
4=2E Maintain and distribute project schedules for complex
projects.
5=2E Manage and communicate with vendors and end users to
resolve complex issues.
6=2E Manage post-release sup****t and ongoing enhancements to
the project.
7=2E Recommend, create and implement IS Development policies,
standards, and procedures for development and implementation of
internally developed enhancements and interfaces.
8=2E Recommend utilization of tools to sup****t development,
implementation, and ongoing sup****t of the system.
9=2E Provide mentoring for IS Development staff.
10. Perform troubleshooting and problem resolution of very
complex application, and interface issues.
11. Create, and maintain extensions to standard Siebel
Analytics functionality.
12. Interface with all other team members to ensure smooth
operation, and integration of internally developed systems.
13. Participate in training activities as applicable.
14. Maintain current knowledge of application development
techniques.
15. Meet with other IS organizations to discuss operational
issues, technology overlaps, etc.
16. Adhere to all Information Services policies and procedures.
