Work involves "Testing the RTOS platform" for Cisco routers - termed
here as Platform Testing. Emphasis is on "High Availability" testing
(covers platform resiliency, failover, redundancy testing etc.). Also,
verify Unix / RTOS processes, IPC, absolute and relative task
priorities, node traversal etc.
-Strong knowledge of RTOS (as a sys admin) and experience in QA of a
RTOS based platform (e.g. qnx, psos, vxWorks, MontaVista or LynxWorks
etc. ) is required. Basic comfort with CLI / boot process, bringup
etc. will be good too.
- Work is testing networking equipment is required.
- Working in testing of high-end routers will be a plus.
-A team player with good communication skills & positive/can-do
attitude.
