The candidate should have at least 8 years of working experience in
the Layer 2 and Ethernet switching development environment. Learning
fast and coming up to speed to handle complex projects in new
technologies is essential. The candidate is expected to be a team
player with excellent verbal and writing communication skills.
Must-Have Skills/ Requirements:
.. Proficiency in C and object oriented programming methodologies
.. Excellent trouble shooting techniques
.. Intimate knowledge of Ethernet Switching technology
.. Expert in multi-threaded Ethernet device drivers
.. Intimate knowledge of 802.1D - STP protocol
.. Low level Software and board bring up
.. Complex distributed HW and SW testing and performance monitoring
Desired Skills/ Requirements:
.. Intimate knowledge of RSTP and UDLD protocols
.. Experience with PowerPC
Good-To-Have Skills/ Requirements:
. Cisco IOS and preferably IOX development environment
