Description:
Position Description
The SAP ****tal Architect will be responsible for working with the
Product Manager on the following key initiatives:
- Architect for the SAP ****tal Upgrade (December 2007) - planning to
implementation
- Implementation of various functional enhancements (June 2008) -
prototyping of new functionality (based upon high-level customer
requirements to deployment/sup****t)
- Input into ****tal architectural design; federated model or single
****tal
- Input into a long-term strategy/roadmap for the development and
exploitation of SAP ****tal technology. Particular emphasis paid to how
SAP ****tal relates to Accenture's current enterprise ****tal
- Input into the ****tal migration strategy
- Review and optimization of ****tal Performance
- Review and optimization of ****tal security design - in particular a
model to sup****t the long-term vision of role-based communication
- Developing a plan for the "next phase" of functional enhancements,
focused on hard business benefit
Must have skills/qualifications
- SAP EP 6.0 and 7.0 - with particular focus on the following
functionality:
o Application Integrators
o Messaging
o Idle timeout
o BI Integration - e.g. information broadcaster
o ****tal Inbox
o Navigation panel and launchpad to ease access to backend systems
- SAP KM
- SAP Collaboration
- Working with teams that are physically located in oversea locations
- Mentoring of less experienced team members - identification of team
gaps and training areas
- Must come to the role with an emphasis on standard "out of the box"
functionality
- Testing
