Position: NewCross is seeking an experienced IP Solutions Architect in
the Santa Clara, CA area to assist our development and deployment of new
converged networking and application solutions. You will partner with
various groups including Sales, Marketing, Development, and Technical
Services to ensure the solution's success.
Duties: As an IP Solutions Architect you will be responsible for the
*****sment of current customer architectures and the design of proposed
architectures including network, self service, CTI routing, load
balancing, desktop softphone and screen pop.
· Work with management and customers to identify op****tunities
for new voice & data applications leveraging NEC's current and planned
IP PBXs.
· Provide the technical vision and expertise in SIP, VoIP, IP
Telephony and Unified Messaging (UM) and Computer-Telephony Integration
(CTI) to sup****t the design of new solutions.
· Technically lead pilot programs
Qualifications: As a Solution Architect, you must have a proven track
record of successful projects, and be seen as a strong problem solver.
Must have a minimum of seven (7) years IT industry experience, five (5)
years of advanced networking experience, and three (3) years of
converged networking experience. Must be familiar with and possess
demonstrable experience with SIP, VoIP, IP Telephony and Unified
Messaging (UM). Computer-Telephony Integration (CTI) is a plus. Design
experience is required across 3 or more call centers of at least 300
total agents.
