Key Requirements and skillset
General skills: Project development cycle, Math, Algorithms,
distributed applications, abstract thinking;
Methodology skills: OOD, OOA, Design Patterns, UML, Data Warehousing,
Multitasking/multithreading ;
Languages: C/C++ (w/STL), C#, MC++, Perl, SQL , XML, .NET, Visual
Basic ; (Java , PHP, ASP is a plus) ;
Operating Systems (developer's level): Windows (NT), Unix (Solaris);
Education: MS in Applied Math or Computer Science;
Prior work experience and familiarity in the following areas is prefeable:
Databases experience : Oracle, MSSQL ; (MySQL is a plus) ;
Communications: IPC, Sockets (TCP/IP, UDP) , Network programming ;
Areas of expertise: scalable applications, multi-platforms applications;
