Arkivio, Inc. (www.arkivio.com) is looking for some talented and
self-motivated people to work in the Quality Assurance department. In
this contract to hire position, you will develop test plans and run
test cases based on an understanding of software testing methodologies
and of Arkivio auto-stor infrastructure. You will work with the QA
organization and development teams to review and improve requirements,
specifications and test plans; design, develop and execute tests.
Principal Responsibilities (Junior QA Engineer):
=B7 Develop and execute test plans and test cases to maximize product
coverage
=B7 Contribute to setting and evaluating milestone criteria such that
product is release on schedule with high quality
=B7 Work with the core engineering team to reproduce product issues
=B7 Work with technical sup****t to resolve or replicate field issues
=B7 Communicate with other QA engineers and interns
=B7 Continually research new technologies and incor****ate that new
knowledge into your ongoing QA process
Requirements:
=B7 1 to 3 years of experience in QA or Technical Sup****t
=B7 Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or equivalent
=B7 Direct experience debugging software in a Microsoft Windows
environment
=B7 Working knowledge of SQL RDBMS preferably MySQL
=B7 Working knowledge of LDAP
=B7 Working knowledge of Visual Basic, Perl, shell scripting or other
scripting languages
=B7 Working knowledge of Unix/Linux
=B7 Working knowledge of CIFS and NFS
=B7 Working knowledge of networking such as TCP/IP, DNS, SNMP, Network
Monitor, and SMTP
=B7 Ability to apply and demostrate knowledge of software engineering
and quality assurance methodology, process and tools
=B7 Ability to write clear and concise bug re****ts
=B7 Ability to work with minimal supervision
=B7 Ability to juggle multiple projects in a fast place environment
=B7 Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
