RESPONSIBILITIES
- interact with the Development and Sales teams to understand current
product and customer requirements
- help to develop and manage customer and partner relation****ps
- establish the QA lifecycle and coverage models including input into
the design of manual & automated tests
- build the infrastructure required for QA & Sup****t, including
selection of vendor tools for testing and ticketing
- train and manage the QA engineers and Sup****t analysts
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree in math, science or engineering, with demonstrated
academic excellence
- ability to manage a team and keep to tight project schedules
- strong oral and written communication skills
- must have demonstrated initiative, be methodical & thorough, with
strong attention to detail
- must be able to work in a dynamic & fast-paced environment
- experience with C, Java or Perl, and database systems (DB2, Oracle,
Sybase or MS SQL Server)
- familiarity with the UNIX/Linux and Windows environment
ASSETS
- certifications in project management, quality assurance, and
database management
- knowledge of database system internals: SQL, transaction management,
locking, caching
- experience with distributed systems and highly-available systems
