Verticalmove has teamed up with a successful startup that has pioneered
an entirely new suite of enterprise software applications aimed at
source-code compliancy. Basically, their software and services automate
the detection and management of rogue components and 3rd party software
source-code within cor****ate production code bases.
They've already closed the largest network hardware manufacture in
the world and are in talks with several other customers, including the
worlds 3 largest software companies. They've attracted more than two
years of financing from two well known tier-1 VCs. Their product is
believed to be as im****tant in software development as IDE's and
Source Code Mgmt solutions.
Senior Software Engineer
Requirements:
- At least 5 years software development experience on substantial
commercial and/or open source projects.
- Thorough understanding of the Java language and J2SE libraries
(professional experience with C/C++ is also highly desirable).
- Working knowledge of source code management/version control systems,
integrated development environments, defect tracking systems, and build
systems/tools (preferably several of each).
- Familiarity with at least two of the following operating systems:
Windows, Linux, Mac OSX, Solaris.
- Consummate desire to succeed in everything you do.
The daily duties of a Senior Software Engineer include:
- Specification, design, implementation, unit testing, do***entation,
and maintenance of substantial ****tions of the client code base.
- Integration with existing or new applications and tools.
- Frequent interaction with team members, QA, management, and sales
engineers to plan, re****t status, gather feedback, investigate defects,
etc.
