Verticalmove is working with a successful Kleiner Perkins company that
is developing a suite of business applications for the Services Supply
Management (SSM) that improve the way companies buy and manage
outsourced services - one of the largest components of cor****ate
spending. With these J2EE-based solutions, Global 2000 enterprises can
reduce costs by 8-17%, improve service quality, ensure compliance, and
bring visibility and control to their services supply chain.
As a member of the core engineering team you will participate in the
enhancements to the J2EE framework and core components of the
application infrastructure. Lead a development team spanning
geographies and time zones to design and develop functional modules in
the SSM enterprise application. The successful candidate will also
participate in J2EE component design, data base design, migration
analysis and performance tuning.
Software Engineer Lead/Architect
Requirements:
- 7+ years of development experience using J2EE technologies.
- Proactive, flexible and willing to work in a fast-paced cross
geography development environment.
- Prior experience is design and development of complex enterprise
applications (ERP, Supply Chain, CRM etc..) highly desirable.
- Proven track record of leading design, development and deployment of
large software projects using J2EE (JSP, EJB, JMS, XML) and web-based
technologies.
- Experience in building reusable application frameworks and core
application infrastructure components using J2EE design patterns.
- Good experience with Weblogic application server in development and
production environments is highly desirable.
- Experience in logical database design for Oracle.
- Familiarty with open source technologies (Struts, Ant, Junit) is a
plus.
