Verticalmove is working with a successful Kleiner Perkins company that
is developing a suite of business applications for the Services Supply
Management (SSM) that improve the way companies buy and manage
outsourced services - one of the largest components of cor****ate
spending. With these J2EE-based solutions, Global 2000 enterprises can
reduce costs by 8-17%, improve service quality, ensure compliance, and
bring visibility and control to their services supply chain.
As a member of the core engineering team you will own the logical and
physical database design of the multi-lingual SSM application and be
responsible for building a high transaction, high volume application
sup****ting high concurrency. In addition, you will oversee all changes
to the schema and review technical designs of module leads. Other
responsibilities include working with a team spanning geographies and
time zones to design and develop functional modules in the SSM
Enterprise Application. Performance tuning of application queries and
setting the database parameters for optimum performance is required.
Senior Database Architect
Requirements:
- 7+years of development experience in database modeling and design for
enterprise applications.
- Proactive, flexible and willing to work in fast-paced cross geography
development environment
- Prior experience in design and development of complex enterprise
applications (ERP, Supply Chain, CRM etc) is required.
- Proven track record of design and modeling skills. Experience with
SOA a plus.
- Strong experience in building scalable transaction processing
systems. Experience with data warehousing a plus.
- Strong experience in physical and logical database design for Oracle.
Deep knowledge of SQL and PL/SQL.
- Experience in performance tuning a must.
- Knowledge of Java required. Understanding of Oracle internals a plus.
