JOB DESCRIPTION:
Terms: 3-6 month contract, or contract-to-hire
Location: San Francisco, CA 94105
Description: The IT development team is seeking talented and
experienced contract QA engineer to work on our "Phoenix" project. In
this role you be expected to improve the efficiency of the IT
Application Development organization and increase test coverage of
billing and revenue systems that sup****t business processes at
salesforce.com.
Responsibilities:
=95 The ideal candidate will have developed test cases for billing
and revenue system implementations
=95 Perform all aspects of testing including functional, regression,
performance, and acceptance for billing and revenue applications
=95 Verify software matches expectations; assist team with testing
software components that meet expectations
=95 Coordinate the identification and resolution of software issues
between multiple departments, groups
Required Skills/Experience:
=95 3+ years of experience with revenue recognition, billing,
contract management, order entry
=95 3+ years the above experience with companies that sup****t the
subscription model (health clubs, software as service, etc.) or
telecommunications.
=95 Expert knowledge of the following revenue recognition concepts:
delivery, fee is fixed, and determinable, pervasive evidence of an
arrangement, collection is probable
=95 3+ years experience of creating the test cases related to the
area above
=95 3+ years experience with Oracle accounting rules
=95 3+ years of revenue accounting and revenue management
experience
=95 6+ years experience of Software QA area
=95 Strong do***entation skills
=95 Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written,
outstanding attention to detail
