Description: The engineer will be working with a talented group of
engineers in company's IT Applications department. The IT Applications
department is responsible for sup****ting Customer billing, Finance,
Marketing, Purchasing and Receiving departments. We act as an
interface between Web Engineering, CRM and Logistics teams. We use
Oracle E business suite 11i (GL/AP/AR/PO/INV) for core financials, and
have built extensions to it, in a loosely coupled and highly scalable
architecture for customer billing, purchasing and receiving.
Responsibilities
=95 Create a strategy to enhance the existing system with scalability
and simplicity in mind.
=95 Develop applications using Oracle applications OA frame work, XML
publisher & forms.
=95 Design & develop Java/Oracle based batch processing applications
(interfaces to Oracle E Business suite 11.5.10, Credit Card processing
& Tax calculation) code development, creation of project plan
estimates, and production of detailed design do***entation.
=95 Customize / extend Oracle E business suite in the areas of
Inventory, Procure2Pay.
=95 Development environment requires adherence to engineering QA
practices including configuration management, source control, unit
testing, integration testing, and do***entation of code.
Required Skills:
=95 7 or more years as a software Engineer
=95 At least 4+ years of developing applications for Oracle EBusiness
suite 11.5.10+
=95 4 years developing software using Java/J2EE with Oracle 8i/9i
database(s)
=95 One or more years of developing applications using Oracle OAF
framework
=95 Custom development experience in Re****ts, Interfaces,
Customizations, Conversions and Extensions
=95 High proficiency with SQL & PL/SQL, tuning applications
=95 Strong object oriented programming skills (Java and/or C++)
=95 Oracle's ADF & JSF frameworks, XML publisher, Brio/Hyperion, Oracle
BI
=95 Knowledge of Oracle Account Receivables, Cash Management,
Procure2Pay, Inventory, Fixed assets, Oracle GL is a definite plus
=95 Oracle EBusiness adapters with Oracle fusion middleware and BPEL,
EDI and E-business gateway.
=95 Implementation and configuration experience with Oracle 11i Apps
=95 Struts, Eclipse, SWT, Web services, ANT & UNIX shell programming
=95 Solid understanding of advanced Java topics such as multithreading,
garbage collection internals, memory debugging and ****tability of Java
applications
=95 Enjoys technical challenges and constantly strives to improve
existing systems
=95 Excellent written and verbal communications.
Education:
=95 Bachelors or Masters in Computer Science or equivalent engineering.
