Education:
Bachelor=92s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or
equivalent.
Experience:
=95 8+ years of total software design and development experience.
=95 5+ years of Data Modeling experience
=95 5+ years of Data Warehousing data modeling
=95 3+ ERwin
=95 3+ years of end-to-end data modeling for application databases
=95 2+ years of ODS modeling experience
=95 Strong verbal and written communication skills
Strong Oracle background
Skills & Knowledge:
=95 ERWIN
=95 Must communicate effectively both orally and in writing with
internal and external customers
Other Details
This role performs following responsibilities within established
project timelines:
=95 End-to-end responsibility for data modeling effort from requirements
to conceptual, logical and physical design
=95 Design and develop data, message and system interfaces
=95 Provide hands-on data modeling and development sup****t for the
projects
=95 Modeling tasks include
o Designing a conceptual model
o Designing a Logical model
o Designing a Physical model
o Gathering capacity requirements
o Assist in developing Data Access Plan
o Reviewing Data Access Plan
=95 Enforce business rules with the data model
=95 The data modeler will closely work with development groups and
provide the required sup****t during testing and implementation phases
=95 Own the creation of sup****ting do***entation for the modeling effort
like Enterprise Data Dictionary.
=95 Enforce Enterprise standards around data modeling
=95 Maintain data mapping from source systems to ODS to Application
databases to trans****t message structures to the front-end
representations, to create consistent data transformation across all
applications.
=95 Requires little or no supervision
=95 Exhibits professional behavior and adheres to company policies and
procedures.
=95 Has good organizational and interpersonal skills
