Job Details: Job Description Provides basic
nursing care to patients under direct supervision.
Education: High school graduation or equivalent. Certified by the State
ofMarylandas a Geriatric Nursing Assistant. Experience: Six months
experience as a certified nursing assistant. Skills: Verbal and written
communication. Physical Requirements: Visual acuity; manual dexterity and
physical mobility; hear and orally communicate. Heavy physical effort
(lift/carry up to 50 lbs). Lifts, positions, pushes, and/or transfers
patients, supplies, and equipment; considerable reaching, stooping,
bending, kneeling, and crouching.. Working Conditions: Exposed to health
hazards from patients, strains, and other injuries. Subject to
disagreeable odors. Attendance Requirement: Regular job attendance is an
essential job function.
