Job Details: Job Description Independently
provides direct professional nursing care to residents; delegates and
supervises the care provided by nursing assistants and certified medicine
aide; and ensures smooth operation of the unit for a designated ****ft.
Education: Valid nursing license in the State ofMaryland. CPR certified.
Experience: Two years nursing experience; experience in Long-Term care
preferred. Skills: Effective interpersonal skills including verbal and
written communication. Basic math skills. Demonstrated ability to precept.
Demonstrated high level of clinical competence. Physical Requirements:
Visual acuity; manual dexterity and physical mobility; hear and orally
communicate. Heavy physical effort (lift/carry up to 50 lbs). Lifts,
positions, pushes, and/or transfers patients; prolonged standing/walking;
intermittent exertion when performing treatments. Working Conditions:
Exposure to communicable diseases, toxic substances, medicinal
preparations, and other conditions common to a clinical environment.
Attendance Requirement: Regular job attendance is an essential job
function.
