achieving their financial goals. Job Summary: Configures, monitors and
maintains customers desktop software and hardware including printers,
branch devices, etc; sup****ts mobile workforce Provides consultation to
customers for all aspects of end-user computing and desktop-based LAN
systems software Provides technical sup****t and guidance through Tier II
sup****t, training and publication of do***entation Evaluates, maintains,
modifies and do***ents desktop applications packages participates in the
testing and evaluation of new desktop packages, implements prototypes and
consults with customers on selection of software applications Requirements
Education(ED), Experience(EX), and Knowledge/Abilities (K/A), required for
competent performance in the job:
(ED) Associate, Bachelor or technical institute degree in Computer
Science, Information Systems or related field. Equivalent work experience
may be substituted for formal education; MCP Certification preferred
(EX) Three years of information technology work experience
(K/A) Knowledge of PC functions; must have the ability to troubleshoot PC
hardware and software issues
(K/A) Knowledge or printers and their functions, must have the ability to
troubleshoot printers
(K/A) Knowledgeable of basic network principles; must have the ability to
troubleshoot PC communications issues
(K/A) Demonstrated knowledge of current Windows operating system and
administrative functions associated with the system
(K/A) Demonstrated knowledge of current Microsoft Office products
(K/A) Effective oral and written communication skills
(K/A) Excellent customer service skills
(K/A) Effective analytical, problem solving and decision-making ability
(K/A) Ability to work independently with minimum supervision
