REGIONAL POSITION CAN BE BASED FROM EITHER OF OUR LAUREL, MD OR
PHILADELPHIA,PA PROFIT CENTERS. CANDIDATE SHOULD BE ABLE TO REASONABLY
COMMUTE TO ONE OF THESE LOCATIONS. Position Objective: Responsible for
overseeing all aspects of safety management at assigned profit centers,
implementation and adherence of safety programs at the branch level, and
communicating regional safety issues to Cor****ate Director, Safety &
Health. Position Responsibilities: This position is responsible for
preparing re****ts and recommending procedures to improve organizational
performance. Ultimately the employee holding this position is responsible
for overseeing the overall integrity and quality of all Sunbelt Rentals,
Inc. safety protocols at individual branches on a regional level. Re****ts
directly to Cor****ate Director, Safety & Health.
* Conducts PC safety compliance inspections in accordance with scheduled
program utilizing dedicated audit criteria * Shall include employee
training, facility regulatory compliance, vehicle fleet compliance with
DOT & Company regulations * Shop and equipment rental fleet compliance
inspections Scaffold * services compliance inspections for required profit
center locations * Identifies deficiencies found during inspection;
provides written evaluation of inspection with corrective action
requirements; * Assists Profit Center Manager & Service Manager in
mandating time period for completion of corrective actions * Responsible
for ongoing maintenance of RSM Compliance Manual and Working Action Plan *
Responsible for employee training assistance at each regional location to
ensure full compliance on an ongoing basis * Assists PC Safety Coordinator
as necessary with completion of required training, safety meeting
coordination and completion, and maintenance of Safety Training &
Do***entation Manual * Sup****ts PCM/Safety Coordinator in the
investigation of all incidents & "near misses" while assisting the PCM
in completion of re****ting requirements and follows up as necessary to
sup****t the Claims Team Acts as sup****t source for customer safety
training needs on a regional basis. * Active participates in all PC
monthly safety meetings, as well as providing assistance to PCM/Service
Manager in conducting Safety Stand Down meetings Requirements Education
and Requirements:
* High School Diploma * Excellent written and verbal skills when
addressing either individuals or groups * An observable positive attitude
* Dependable, motivated, and self-starter * Ability to multi-task and be
highly organized * Customer service oriented
* Ability and willingness to travel; 40% overnight travel required * A
general overview of OSHA construction and general industry regulation
knowledge * Working knowledge of DOT regulations and trans****tation safety
* An ability to foster credibility with Site Supervisors, Safety
Coordinators, and PCMs * Proficiency with Excel, Word, Outlook and
PowerPoint
Required Experience:
* Prior experience in safety management and implementation of safety
programs * 1 year employment with Sunbelt Rentals in a profit center
location is preferred * 3 years construction industry experience
