Description Key Role: *****s, design, and combine leading information
management and operational approaches to secure systems and provide
valuable risk management sup****t to clients. Perform technical security
planning, integration, and verification and risk analysis for commercial,
civil, and DoD systems. Execute network security and vulnerability
*****sments during certification and accreditation reviews and conduct
penetration testing on applicable systems when evaluating a system’s
or network’s security posture. Convert security requirements into
technical solutions and analyze system configurations while determining
the level of risk associated with a given system or network. Interface
with clients and provide subject matter expertise by recommending secure
risk mitigation solutions and providing security engineering sup****t to
system or network developers and integrators. Provide Information
Assurance (IA) subject matter expertise sup****t throughout the network or
system development life cycle. Work with management to develop and execute
internal training programs for IA engineers and SMEs and work to improve
existing penetration testing methodologies, procedures, and tool sets and
develop new ones. This position is located in Linthi***, Maryland.
Qualifications Basic Qualifications: -2+ years of experience with
penetration testing required -Knowledge of Internet security and probing
and scanning tools, including NMap, eEye Retina, Canvas, Core Impact,
WebInspect, or Nessus -Knowledge of networking and wireless security,
attack and penetration testing, security testing of Web-based
applications, application security source code *****sments, and TCP/IP
networking -BA or BS degree Additional Qualifications: -Ability to work in
multiple environments, including Microsoft Windows, Linux, and UNIX
-Experience with discovering and developing zero-day exploits preferred
-Experience as a systems or network administrator preferred -Knowledge of
Navy, DoD, and other security- or IA-related security requirements,
including DCID 6/3 DoDIIS and NIST guidelines -Experience with DoD
systems, including NMCI, ONE-NET, or IT-21 preferred -Knowledge of
DITSCAP, software security authorization agreements, and performing
C&A activities a plus -Possession of excellent oral and written
communication skills -TS/SCI clearance with polygraph a plus -DoD 8570 or
DoD IA workforce certification a plus Clearance: Applicants selected will
be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility
