Description: VETERAN LINGUIST ANALYST/TS/SCI w/Fullscope Poly Full-Time
Requisition ID 6222 posted 10/21/2005 FORT MEADE, MD Requirements: Review
and analyze translated foreign language source material. Assigned broad
area of translation responsibility and may delegate ****tions of work to
lower level personnel. Transcribe/translate advanced level graphic and/or
voice language material into modern American English in either verbatim or
gisted format. Provide quality control of transcripts and translations of
more junior linguists. Operate customer furnished transcription equipment
in accordance with operational guidelines. Draft SIGINT re****ts and
provide quality control of re****ts of more junior personnel. Develop and
implement translation methodology and quality control procedures and
standards. Prepare and present technical briefings to customer and upper
management. Share language expertise with Government or Contractor
Language and Intelligence Analysts, and other personnel as required. Must
possess native or near native proficiency in the foreign language or
possess a 3/3 rating on the DLPT or PQE. Requires a bachelors degree or
equivalent experience, and seven to nine years of relevant experience. I07
must have minimum of 4 years of operational cryptologic linguistic
experience. I08 must have minimum of 7 years of operational cryptologic
linguistic experience. I09 must have minimum of 9 years of cryptologic
linguistic experience. Native linguists do not need cryptologic linguistic
experience but must have demonstrated native linguistic do***entation and
experience in do***ent exploitation, transcription, and/or translation.
Must be a U.S. citizen. Current TS+ security clearance.
