ID 24309 posted 03/28/2008 FORT MEADE, MD Requirements: Performs
design/modification/maintenance/repair of environmental & energy
sup****t systems, automated controls, & air quality monitoring systems
located within SCIFs. Provides tech sup****t in maintaining security
requirements inc. sound baffling & mitigation of EMI/RFI. Applies DOD
QA procedures for air quality, NBC/CBR detection, & systems
effectiveness. Acts as commanders rep. on facility engineering projects
requiring technical analysis of environmental issues. Provides design,
non-routine maintenance & repair of smoke retrieval systems, fire
detection/suppression systems & equipment. Provides systems &
subsystem diagnostics & preventive maintenance, calibration, &
lubrication of HVAC components & controls. Interfaces with operational
staff to determine & *****s impacts of environmental changes on mission
performance. Employs, services, & calibrates highly technical data
collection equipment to monitor & evaluate environmental conditions
within the secure areas. Produces records & re****ts of trend analyses,
baseline *****sments & other do***entation. Immediately deployable to
worldwide locations in potentially hazardous work environments to perform
quick reaction technical sup****t. HS diploma w/military trade or technical
schooling and six years of specialized technical experience. Experience in
the design, testing, evaluation, reengineering, fielding, integration,
training, performance of complex system and subsystem diagnostics, and
maintenance and repair of tactical and strategic HVAC subsystems in
sup****t of IEW systems. Experience in design, installation, and
sustainment of computer controlled environmental systems in mobile secure
facilities. INSCOM experience as military or contractor. Valid Pass****t.
