Hi,
Myself arindam Banerjee a masters in biotechnology and currently doing
research on Breast cancer biomarker development, looking for any
Molecular Biology PhD position. My Cv are attached
here.

 Work Experiences:

(I)	Currently working in Triesta Sciences, a California based Clinical
Research Company (www.triesta.com) based in Bangalore and working as
a Research Assistant in the clinical lab.

(II)	For almost one year working as a lecturer In Biotechnology at
Durgapur Institute of Science and Technology, Durgapur,West Bengal(
www.distindia.org).

(III)	Currently working on developing breast cancer biomarker for
therapeutic purposes.

Practical experiences: (I) Immunohistochemical techniques.

                                      (II)Isolation and quantitation of
RNA/DNA from
FFPE tissue/ Snap Frozen/ Fresh Samples.

                                      (III)Basic opearation of
RT-PCR/qPCR ( Eppendorf,
               	    ABI prism 7000 system).

                                      (IV) DNA/RNA/Protein isolation
and Estimation/
                                             Quantitation from Agilent
Bioanalyser 2100
	isolated from Tissue and microorganisms.

( V) Gene expression study by PCR
methods.

                                      (VI) Methylation Study of Cancer
Genes.

Current Works in Brief: Now a day we extract DNA/RNA from FFPE/Snap
frozen tissues/WBC from Breast cancer Patients. Then do the PCR for
certain genes for breast cancer (Those genes that shows some
abnormality in Microarray studies), amplify and purify the PCR product
after running in Gel and do the sequencing to check any abnormality in
sequences.

Now a day we are also working On DNA methylation study of gene
expression.

M=2ESc dissertation done at Blue peter Research Centre,Hyderabad under
the able guidance of Dr.Lavanya S Suneetha on =E2=80=9CRole of steroid as
an
anti-inflammatory agent in the regulation of TNF-=CE=B1 in leprosy
patients=E2=80=9D.

Brief of project: Leprosy is a chronic inflammatory disease ,causes
several nerves damages to the patients. My aim in this project to check
the role of steroids in dimini****ng the leprosy inflammation, and to
reduce the side effects. For that I need to check the role of TNF alpha
so at first I have to separated out the lymphocytes of the patients as
well as controls and incubate with diff. Stimulators( eg. Vit D3,
1%H2O2.Met Prednisolone etc),later check with sandwich ELISA method to
correlate the TNF alpha response.

Achievement of project : After the Exp. Done it has seen that Met.
Prednisolone is more effective in presence of other stimulators like
VitD3,1% H2O2 etc. I can conclude that a better result would be
obtain if we use mixture of these stimulators at diff. Conc.
