We are seeking a IC/Sales Business Development Manager - Consumer Audio
Electronics (****table and home audio products) - North American West Coast
Territory, for our San Jose, CA based client
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Lead business development, sales, account management and customer
sup****t efforts, penetrating major ****table and home audio consumer
electronics product companies.
- Territory to encompass West Coast.
QUALIFICATIONS:
**Only candidates currently residing in the Bay area will be considered**
- BS or better in EE
- 5-10 years of IC sales experience, **SPECIFICALLY HAVING SOLD ICs into
the CONSUMER AUDIO ELECTRONICS INDUSTRY**
- *Must have specific technical domain knowledge in digital audio
- Background in Audio or related component and solution sales.
- Must be self motivated and an independent contributor.
- Good management and interpersonal team skills – able to work with all
departments.
- Ability to “work the front lines” as well as higher level relation****ps.
This is as a very “hands on” sales and account management effort.
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
- Excellent negotiator and proven track record of closing deals.
- Proficient in strategic account planning and management.
- Experience having worked in a small startup.
DESIRABLE:
- Specifically having sold Ics into MP3 player OEMs
