We are seeking a Sr Product Marketing Manager - Carrier/Metro 10 Gig
Ethernet for our Sunnyvale,CA based client
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Drive (in a hands-on capacity) the product line management/mkt and sales
efforts building business and garnering design wins for a line of ICs
geared for Carrier/Metro 10 Gig Ethernet markets.
- Identify new product op****tunities, produce business plans, product
definition and launch
- Internal and external customer management, negotiation and interfacing
QUALIFICATIONS:
- BS or better in EE
- 5 to 10+ years of semiconductor industry IC product management/marketing
experience in the telecom/networking arena
- Proven track record of developing product lines and penetrating accounts
with design wins in the Carrier/Metro 10 Gig Ethernet space
- Solid technical a***en, with thorough understanding of Carrier/Metro 10
Gig Ethernet protocols
- Experience in marketing/sales in international markets such as ASIA or
the EU, as well as North America
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, to influence customers
and build relation****ps with key decision makers on technology, product
strategy & direction
- Driven, with strong organizational and planning skills
- Ability to travel internationally(up to 25-30% travel)
