We are seeking an Intermediate or SR Middleware Developer - Storage
Management Software for our Sacramento based client
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Hands-on contributor, developing storage management middleware/software
QUALIFICATIONS:
** ONLY CANDIDATES CURRENTLY RESIDING LOCALLY IN THE SACRAMENTO AREA WILL
BE CONSIDERED**
- BS or better in CS, CE or EE
- 4-8+ years of professional experience in C/C++ software engineering
- RAID experience
- Some storage management software application level development
experience(on standards such as SMI-S, SNIA, SIM)
- Full SW lifecycle experience: spec, design, implementation, integration,
debug, and maintenance
- Accustomed to structured coding environments: code reviews, revision
control, bug tracking, and release practices
- Good trouble-shooting skills
- Excellent communication skills(verbal and written)
DESIRABLE/ASSETS:
- Programming skills with APIs, XML, HTML, Java, C, C++, UML & object
oriented methodologies.
- Experience in storage protocol device driver development such as SCSI,
FC,SAS/SATA, and/or enclosure management
