Sr. Analog Engineer - Optical Communications ICs
Location - Greater Los Angeles Area
Relocation - YES
Responsibilities:
- Work with our client's fast growing Optical Communication ICs for
10,25,40Gb/s telecom and data applications.
- Will be responsible for designing different Gb/s Modulator drivers and
laser drivers.
Requirements:
- MSEE or better
- Proven track record of product development
- 5+ years experience working on optical communication ICs
- Extensive high-frequency analog / mixed signal bipolar design
experience, and experience in fiber optic transmitter and receiver design
experience for 2.5, 10 and / or 40 Gb/s.
- Working experience in InP, GaAs, SiGe, BiCMOS, and / or CMOS (InP or
SiGe BiCMOS preferred)
- Understanding and or experience of methodology in high frequency analog
IC design, verification, validation and characterization.
- Strong Cad tools experience
- Excellent Communication and Do***entation skills.
Desirables:
- Design experience for manufacturability and testability;
- Good knowledge of semiconductor devices and microwave theory
- Good understanding of optical communications standards and MSAs.
- Experience designing different Gb/s Modulator drivers and laser drivers
