Senior Image Sensor Firmware Engineer
Location - Bay Area
Green Card or US Citizens
Responsibilities:
- Develop, debug and release system firmware for image sensors
Requirements:
- BS or Better
- Experience with the development of low-level firmware using C/Assembly
- Strong working knowledge with tool chains that are listed below:
Compilers
Linkers
Binary utilities
-Experience developing image processing algorithms in firmware such as:
Auto Exposure, Automatic White Balancing, Auto Flicker,
Adaptive functions and more advanced algorithms such as RETINEX and image
stabilizers
- Strong knowledge of automation tools such as Makefiles and scripts
- Debug code in emulation/cosimulation environments using JTAG and other
hardware interfaces as well as in simulation environments using signal
dumps.
- Experience in participating in chip bring up using reference designs
- Experience mapping high-level (Pseudo code) descriptions of algorithms
for image processing into C code Implementations.
- Strong Knowledge of SOC architectures including the following:
Microprocessors
Busses
Interrupt Controllers
Peripheral interfaces programming
Desirables:
- Knowledge of HDL languages (Verilog) and familiarity with testbench
constructions
- Familiarity with programming skills required for memory-constrained
designs
- Knowledge of ARM processors architecture, tool chain and debug
environment including JTAG ICE
