Sr Analog IC (High Speed) Design Engineer - CMOS/Biplor - CDR / PLL
Location - The Bay Area
Relocation - YES
Responsibilities:
- Work with the Design Team within the Fiber Optic Products Division -
creating custom ICs for fiber optics transceivers and products.
- Work with data rates of 10 Gbps and higher from concept through silicon
characterization.
Requirements:
- BSEE or better
- 5+ years experience in analog design -preferred High Speed Circuits.
- Experience and knowledge of analog signal processing techniques.
- Expertise in both Bipolar (Knowledge) and CMOS (working experience) high
speed design.
- Experience with design techniques for High speed circuit in the Gbps
data rate - Preferred PLL / CDR
- Ability to characterize, de-bug and troubleshoot designs in the lab
through hands on characterization.
- Experience taking designs from conception to design and then finally
characterization.
Desirables:
- MSEE or PHD
- Experienced in EM/RF simulation using tools such as HFSS, CST, or ADS
- Experience in the design of high speed opto-electronics circuits
including TIA’s, amplifiers and laser drivers.
