Software Engineer - C / Multi-Threaded / Embedded
Location: Sunnyvale, CA
Responsibilities:
- Develop chips and software for Digital Cameras (Camera on a chip)
- Develop embedded software for the Camera on a chip.
- Collaborate with customers to drive these accounts into production
(Involves Traveling)
- Work with the Applications teams from different countries (Japan, Korea,
Taiwan, China, Israel)
- Work in the following technical areas:
Video/audio/image compression
Video and image processing
File system
Communication protocols (serial, USB, etc..)
Requirements:
- BSCS or better
- 2-7 years experience in a relevant position as a Software Engineer.
- Experience in one of the following areas:
Image Compression
MPEG/H.264
USB
Audio
- Ability to work with customer and travel when needed.
- Excellent communication skills - Written , Oral , Presentation
- Thorough understanding of basic programming concepts – multi-threaded,
embedded environment, C language, assembly
- Ability to Travel 4-6 times a year.
