We are seeking a SR Applications Engineer - Board level HW and Wireless
experience, for our Santa Clara based client
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provide technical sup****t to customers, designing in and debugging
wireless IC connectivity solutions into consumer electronic products
- System level HW sup****t, programming and do***entation
QUALIFICATIONS:
- *Only local candidates currently residing in the Bay area will be
considered
- BS or better in EE
- 5+ years of semiconductor industry experience, working on consumer
electronic products (with good understand of design requirements and
tradeoffs)
- *Must have previous experience working with customers
- Experience doing board level HW design and debugging the design in
customer systems
- Ability to customize reference designs according to customer needs
- Sound knowledge and experience working with wireless communication
systems and digital audio/video systems
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to travel internationally to assist customers
DESIRABLE:
- Knowledge of and experience with schematic capture and board layout
tools such as OrCAD, Allegro or PADS
- Experience working with FPGAs, and/or firmware
- Knowledge of wired or wireless communication standards and
interoperability.
