RFIC/MMIC Design Engineer - amplifiers, switches or mixers
Location - The Bay Area
Relocation - YES
Responsibilities:
- Will be responsible for a lot of the leg work with rapping of the
release of new products. This will include but not be limited to
Characterization and testing.
- Work together with other teams to design, develop and release to
production complete multi-function products from 2.4GHz to as high as 44
GHz.
Requirements:
- BSEE or better (Focused on RF / Microwave)
- 2-7 Years Experience with RFIC / Microwave
- Candidate that comes from an RF test background and is looking to make
the jump to design would be preferred.
- Experience and knowledge working with CAD and test tool - ADS and
Microwave office
- Experience with one or more of the following wireless data products:
Amplifiers
Switches
Mixers
- Experience with the following Processes:
PHEMT
Enhancement Mode GaAs
Depletion Mode GaAs
RF and millimeter wave design (this captures the 2 to 44GHz frequency)
- Knowledge and or experience with S-parameters
- Strong communication skills and ability to work independently or as part
of a team.
Desired Requirements:
- MSEE / Ph.D. Electrical Engineering with an emphasis on high frequency
analog design.
- Thorough knowledge of Semiconductor Technologies and CAD Tools.
