We are seeking a SR Optoelectronics Product Marketing Manager for our Bay
area client
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Hands-on Product marketing management for a line of optical interconnect
products
- Penetrate and market directly to Tier 1 customers
- Research, competitive analysis, forecasting, strategic planning
- Produce marketing do***ents, attend trade shows
QUALIFICATIONS:
- **Only candidates currently residing locally in the bay area will be
considered**
- ** Candidate would have to work out of a home-office setting**
- BS or better in EE or equivalent technical degree; MBA optional(in
conjunction with very strong optoelectronics experience)
- 10+ years of semiconductor/microelectronics industry experience, coupled
with strong optoelectronics experience
- 5+ years as a Product Marketing Manager
- Must have Business relation****p and industry knowledge in several of the
listed markets & applications below:
HPC / Data Centers (includes Infiniband and other protocols);Parallel
Photonics; Optical Transceivers; Active Optical cable assemblies; Active
Copper cable assemblies; High Speed Interconnects in Military; High Speed
timing applications
- Strong negotiation skills, coupled with legal and commercial contracts
knowledge
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Self starter with good business development, multitasking and time
management skills
- Travel: Roughly about 2 months worth total per year, domestic and
international, averaging once every six weeks.
