We are seeking a SR Board level Systems Architect - Storage/RAID Products
for our Sacramento, CA based client
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Interface with external and internal customers, defining and
architecting next generation board/system level reference designs for
RAID/Storage systems and adapter products.
- Perform system level analysis
- Lead development roadmap
QUALIFICATIONS:
- BS or better in EE, CE or CS
- 8+ years of systems design and/or architecture of board/card level
products
- Previous experience(at least a year or 2) as a System Architect.
- Very strong experience and understanding of storage system protocols
(SATA, SAS, Fiber Channel), Server Platforms, RAID, JBODs,etc
- Experience doing system level performance analysis, work with simulation
tools, and exposure to board level design(MIPS architecture preferred).
- Good software understanding
- Ability to lead cross-functional teams to complete project deliverables
for new technology deployment initiatives.
- Demonstrated experience presenting technology recommendations from a
business perspective.
- Excellent communication, decision-making and presentation skills, in
order to interface effectively with clients.
DESIRABLE/ASSET:
- MS or better in EE, CE.
- Previous experience having done some firmware development would be an
asset
