Our Bay area client is currently seeking to hire a Senior Firmware
Engineer - RAID/HBA and SAS/SATA/SCSI
Responsibilities:
- Provide technical leader****p in the design, architecture and feature
specification for the firmware for our client's storage products
- Design, test, debug and verify firmware using C and assembly
- Participate in code reviews
- Analyze the performance of the firmware and optimize this performance
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex problems
- Present technical information to teams of engineers and marketing staff
Qualifications:
- BSEE or BCS
- 5+ years of firmware system development for real-time streaming systems
or other relevant systems
- Proficient in C and assembly for embedded and real-time applications.
- Experience leading the work of others
- Experience in storage protocol development such as Raid, Fibre-Channel,
SCSI and/or SAS/SATA
Desirable Requirements:
- Experience with RAID protection algorithms
- Driver experience in in Windows/Linux
