Position -Laser Device R&D Engineer--Semiconductor Lasers
Relocation - YES
Location - The Bay Area
**Ability to travel occasionally to manufacturing facilities in
Singa****e.**
Responsibilities:
- Design and develop new vertical-cavity surface-emitting lasers to
sup****t our Clients' fiber optic high-speed transceivers and other
orthogonal markets.
Requirements:
- BSEE or better in Solid-State Physics / EE or better
- 4+ years of extensive experience with semiconductor lasers including
device design, simulation, and device characterization.
- Solid command of laser device physics and optoelectronic devices.
- Excellent analytical skills and physical intuition as well as Experience
troubleshooting device performance
- Experience working with a team
- Excellent Communication Skills
Desirables:
- MSEE / PHD in Solid-State Physics / EE or better
- 4+ years of hands on VCSEL experience.
- Experience with New product introduction (R&D to manufacturing)
- Hands on III-V semiconductor device fabrication experience.
