Position: Sr. Systems Design Engineer-R&D - Analog IC Block integration
Relocation - YES
Location - The Bay Area
** Travel required - 10%** INTERNATIONAL
Responsibilities:
- Take leader****p of the development and design interfacing of analog
Integrated circuits, sensors and systems in sup****t of the advanced
product needs of our clients' Isolation Products.
- Be involved with and take leader****p of determining problems and finding
solutions with First of New Designs.
- Provide the R&D improvements to develop new technology platforms needed
to continue our clients' Isolation Product depts' high levels of revenue
growth.
- Responsible for Bridging the Analog IC Blocks with the Physics side to
create the systems.
Requirements:
- BSEE or better
- 5+ years experience in a practical R&D position (Analog IC Blocks)
- Strong EE design background with a grasp of fundamentals that can be
conveyed to other team members.
- Broad experience in designing and interfacing analog circuit blocks and
sensors with digital systems and communication busses for new and emerging
markets.
- Proven track record of developing creative solutions to challenging
design problems.
- Experience with the following areas of focus:
Electromechanical and electro-optical system integration.
Feedback loops
Design tools and prototype assembly processes
Complex mixed signal designs
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Strong teamwork and leader****p skills, and creativity
Desirables:
- First of New Design experience would be preferred
- Consumer product focus is a definite plus
- Isolation Product experience is a definite plus
