Precision Recruiting is currently engaged with this company to attract
a Software Developer (Embedded Graphics) for the team in the Ottawa,
Ontario office.
What you will do:
This is your op****tunity to be flexible, self-directed and innovative

organization. Creative software developers, who have a passion to
invent, design and implement embedded software along with a strong
curiosity to learn will thrive in this environment. If you love to
create new drivers and develop enhancements to existing drivers for
high performance AMD (ATI) and nVidia graphics and video capture
products you will succeed. Develop power-on built-in-test firmware and
develop continuous built-in-test drivers is also part of the role.
Being resourceful and able to overcome new challenges using astute
design and engineering skills coupled with innovative approaches will
be beneficial to the team and yourself.
The key technical aspects of this role are development and maintenance
of video capture drivers, OpenGL/X11 drivers and applications for the
sup****ted products and built in test. The development is in C for the
WindRiver VxWorks operating system mainly; however there is also
software development for Greenhills Integrity, Linux and Microsoft
Windows operating systems.
What is needed to succeed:
* Up to five years industry experience, or an equivalent education and
complementary experience.
* X11/ OpenGL drivers, video capture drivers (PMC-704, PMC-706,
XMC-710).
* WindRiver VxWorks
* Greenhills Integrity, Linux and Microsoft Windows operating systems.

equivalent).
