Manufacturing Cost Accountant
VERNON HILLS, IL

~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~
The Cost Accountant will assist in capturing and analyzing all
manufacturing variances, perform month end close duties including
preparation of journal entries and account reconciliations and
calculate benefit, labor, and overhead rates.
This positions will also analyze cost change reserves and
excess/obsolete inventory reserves, assist with developing and
analyzing standard costs, monitor the efficiency and accuracy of
existing financial processes, reconcile the perpetual inventory
to the general ledger, audit the cycle count program on a monthly
basis, assist with the implementation of physical inventories,
and perform other duties as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelors Degree in Accounting or Finance
- 1-3 years of cost accounting experience (manufacturing industry
experience preferred) or equivalent experience
- Strong analytical and organizational skills.
- Excellent in Excel.
- Motivated and self-directed.
- Ability to quickly learn new skills and assume new
responsibilities.
- Knowledge of ERP systems a plus.
*Minimal travel, as needed.
