ASKO, for seventy-five years a leading manufacturer of custom
engineered tooling and wear resistant parts for the metal working
industry, is starting a 2nd ****ft, creating immediate op****tunities
for individuals with prior machine shop experience at our
reconditioning plant in South Holland, IL.
We require prior industrial experience in the operation of
metalworking machine tools, the ability to use precision shop
measuring instruments (micrometers, calipers, etc.), an aptitude for
shop arithmetic and a focus on customer service. Prior OD or surface
table grinding (such as Norton, Blanchard, or Mattison) experience is
always desirable, but is NOT required.
ASKO=92s offers of employment are conditional on the candidate=92s
successful completion of a pre-placement physical evaluation (which
includes drug screen) and a criminal records check. Our production &
maintenance employees are represented by the USW; successful
candidates must join the union as a condition of employment.
