 Systems Engineer II
Location North Denver
Type: Full Time
Compensation: Up to $80, Cor****ate Benefits


****FT (SUN-TUES alt WED: 7pm-7am)

=B7 Sup****t of all Company Managed Services classified as Systems
Services.
=B7 Manage and execute all tier 1 troubleshooting procedures for managed
services. Utilize skills, education and training to solve problems
quickly for customers.
=B7 Technical assistance to all Company internal/external customers
during system problems and implementation.
=B7 Assemble and update do***entation in the form of problem and change
management tickets.
=B7 Have a base familiarity with client base and the network resources
being utilized by all Company internal/external customers. Use this
information to assist in resolving managed services or trouble
shooting system problems, outages.
=B7 Assist in Implementing internal/external Company customer's disaster
recovery networks, with varying organizations within Company.
=B7 Learn automated resource functions and terminology.
=B7 Learn alert management platforms, functions, and terminology.
=B7 Learn the Company product offerings.
=B7 Learn the Company clients & their services.
=B7 Study the livelink Library Help Desk procedures.
=B7 Working knowledge in activating, provisioning, and troubleshooting
managed storage (tape and disk), load balancing, operating systems
administration, database administration, monitoring services.
=B7 Strong systems and network troubleshooting skills are required.
=B7 Working knowledge of Windows, Linux, Solaris, Tivoli, EMC, Hitachi,
F5's is desirable.

Must Requirements (including any physical requirements):

=B7 College Degree preferred but will consider applicants with
equivalent work-related experience with a minimum educational
requirement of a H.S. Diploma or GED equivalent.
=B7 Five to Ten years experience in a Systems control/management center
or Central office environment.
=B7 Experience or be asked to sup****t a wide range of technologies
including: OS's -Windows, Linux, Solaris, Databases, SAN, TSM, Load
Balancing, Monitoring, Cisco network products, Disaster recovery
=B7 Working knowledge in activating, provisioning, and troubleshooting
managed storage (tape and disk), load balancing, operating systems
administration, database administration, monitoring services.
=B7 Strong systems troubleshooting skills are required.
=B7 Working knowledge of IT infrastructure through all layers of the OSI
model.
=B7 Strong customer service and communications skills (written and oral)
are required.
=B7 Experience with a variety of switch & router hardware, carrier
services, network services, network management, network termination
equipment and associated diagnostic equipment.
=B7 Technical knowledge & experience with various network protocols are
required.
=B7 Must have the ability to lead and direct vendors to assist them in
their efforts.
=B7 Knowledge & experience with PC LAN protocols and connectivity.
=B7 Ability to interact and influence change within the team that you're
working in.
=B7 Strong interpersonal skills are a requirement.
=B7 Excellent communications skills (written and oral) are required.
=B7 Strong time management and organizational skill are required.
=B7 Must have the ability to effectively work in a team environment, as
well as independently.
=B7 ****ft work is required. Proven leader****p skills in a fast paced
work environment is required.
=B7 Ability to manage multiple responsibilities is required.
