DBA for DB2 --
This person will assist in creating new data warehousing for our
customers. You will design, develop, and implement the database to
sup****t this data warehouse.
Requirements include but are not limited to:
* 5+ years of DB2 database experience working in UNIX/Linux
environment
* DB2/XML experience
* SQL coding and UDB knowledge
* Data Warehouse Technologies, including ETL tools
* Solid Database Architecture skills with Data Modeling experience
* Able to Administer and Tune large databases for optimum performance
* Fundamental experience of UNIX/Linux
* In-depth understanding of the Data Warehousing Life Cycle and data
modeling concepts
* Understanding and ability to apply use of logical modeling, object/
relational mapping techniques, and XML
* Solid database foundation, irrespective of any particular platform
* In-depth understanding of data mart and data warehouse design
models
* Ability to work with business users and sponsors to gather
requirements
* Ability to achieve milestones with the set project plan
* Must be able to work independently or as part of a team to develop
the required solution
* Excellent written and verbal communications skills will be required
for business interaction
PHP Web Developer --
Develops complex, object-oriented PHP Web Applications; and will
perform performance tuning web applicaitons.
Requirements include but are not limited to:
* Skill developing complex, object oriented PHP web
applications
* Skill in the use of PHP 5.0+
* In-depth knowledge of web services and other backend
applications
* Familiarity with object oriented programming techniques and
common design patterns
* Relational Database Experience
* Expert level SQL Query writing
* Client-Server application development
* In-depth knowledge of LAMP
* Skilled with PERL and DB2 desirable
* Skill in performance tuning web applications highly desirable
* 3+ years experience developing OO PHP
