Description: Our client is looking to hire an experienced and highly
motivated SQL developer to join their Data Warehouse team. This team is
dedicated to building out and maintaining the infrastructure that sup****ts
many of the core analytical processes performed throughout the company.
Position Requirements:
Strong SQL coding and query optimization techniques
At least one year of SQL Server Experience
Bachelor’s degree from a competitive school with a strong academic track
record
4+ years of development experience with business intelligence / data
warehousing
Knowledge of data warehouse design concepts such as data staging,
partitioning, and OLAP / ROLAP
Ability to leverage past experience to perform data warehouse database,
ETL, and re****ting tool evaluations
Strong understanding of industry best practices using Kimball or Inmon
approaches
Knowledge of SQL 2005, SSIS, and SSAS
Previous hands-on experience with:
SQL Server development and data warehouse technologies
Development of source to target do***ents and ETL specifications
ETL tools such as Informatica and AbInitio
Business intelligence query and re****ting tools
Entity relational and dimensional modeling and star schema design
