Description: The Director/Senior Director, Biostatistics will promote
and implement the strategic use of statistics to achieve business goal and
conduct research on problems that address business needs. Provide
consultation on statistical solutions to problems and strategy, new areas
of study design, relevant new guidance do***ents, state of the art
statistical applications, and product defense. Strong interests in some of
the following areas: methodology for high dimensional data analysis
(including genomics and proteomics), image analysis, Bayesian theory and
applications, design and analysis of clinical trials, risk analysis, or
health economics is desired. Must hold a PhD; be actively involved in
research with established publication records and at least 7 years of
consulting experience in areas relevant to the pharmaceutical industry.
