Description: Post-Trade Application Production Sup****t Manager
We are seeking a strong manager to sup****t existing systems that affect
all post trade operations for a major financial company. This position
will be responsible for managing a team of analysts and developers and work
side by side with the business.
The Sup****t Manager will be responsible for ensuring all processes are
executed as expected on a daily basis and issues are resolved and escalated
appropriately to impacted parties, including external departments. In
addition, the Sup****t Manager will be held accountable for improving the
overall sup****t function to make it more efficient and effective - people,
process, and technology.
Candidate should have a solid foundation in problem solving, a pure
passion for process improvement, and a natural curiosity for exploring
existing applications and corresponding technologies.
Position Responsibilities:
Managing daily technology processes
Managing daily application bugs and general maintenance
Managing requests (hardware, permissions, etc)
Managing cross department dependencies
Assisting in sup****ting daily process during peak periods
Identifying/logging and resolving issues and escalating as appropriate
Managing staff performance process with direct supervisor
Ensuring quality process and procedure do***entation
Training staff in sup****t of daily activities
Assisting in plan for Business Continuity
Position Requirements:
College degree
Understanding/Literacy of the following: .Net, C#, Web Services, C and MS
SQL relational databases, Excel
Experience with managing team(s) of at least two employees
Proven ability to manage an end to end process and improve reliability and
efficiency
Ability to proactively identify and resolve issues with minimal oversight
Effectively communicates internally and externally to resolve issues
Experience with Microsoft programs and Windows environment
Strong problem solving skills and an ability to learn rapidly on-the-job
Works well in a dynamic environment
BS/BA Degree in Computer Science or Engineering preferred
