Description: IT Resource Manager
This individual will be responsible for defining and implementing the
standards, procedures, and processes around how we identify, select, and
manage our relation****ps with technology vendors.
Position Responsibilities:
Serve as the central point of contact and information source for all
technology consulting firms relation****ps across the firm
Negotiate contractual terms and establish effective arrangements for the
firm
Determine and implement policies and procedures around selecting,
on-boarding, and managing consulting resources
Keep abreast of the technology consulting firm industry
Measure consulting firms' ongoing efficiency and impact to the firm
Position Requirements:
Excellent communication and negotiation skills
Proven experience in managing consultant relation****ps
Proven experience in managing leading professional services firms in the
financial services industry
Experience managing outsourcing and off-shore providers is a plus
Highly intelligent and driven, with an unusual amount of common sense
Exceptional leader****p aptitude, an open and engaging personality, and a
quick mind
Comfortable giving and receiving criticism, managing initiatives, and
taking charge
Strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail
A college degree is required, and demonstrated success at one of the
nation’s top universities is a plus.
