Description: Manager, Supply Chain Management
Responsibilities include:
Manage the Clinical Supply Chain staff and/or functions.
Responsible for providing regular performance feedback, development, and
coaching for up to 5 direct re****ts.
Responsible for managing finished clinical packaging operations including
the following.
Primary contact with Secondary Packagers / Suppliers.
Liaison with Clinical Operations on clinical supply status and issues.
Hands-on planning and issuing of purchase requests; key CSPT
representative.
Accurately forecast clinical demand based on patient, visit, inventory,
expected enrollment, depot, and site information provided by Clinical
Operations.
Maintain appropriate level of Clinical Inventory at Secondary Packagers
and Depots according to Demand Plan.
Responsible for the timely reconciling or correcting of invoice issues.
Manage the overall function and supplier base by developing and analyzing
metrics to drive continuous improvement op****tunities related to all
aspects of clinical supply chain.
Maintain communication and ensure management is informed of key issues.
Lead regular and special meetings related to Clinical Supply Chain.
Represent Clinical Supply Chain on internal teams.
Responsible for observing all Company, Health, Safety and Environmental
guidelines.
A Successful candidate will have:
Bachelors' degree in engineering, science or other related field
equivalent experience. An Advanced degree related to pharmaceuticals is
desirable.
5-7 years experience in pharmaceutical/OTC or medical device field or
equivalent.
Experience in supervising a clinical supply operation.
Experience in planning or buying specialized products or components.
Experience in a matrix team environment.
Experience with and MRP system.
Project Management experience preferred.
Understanding of GMPs/GCPs for drugs and/or medical devices.
