Description: Position Responsibilities:
Assists in the gathering of new requirements from business stakeholders,
translates those requirements into technical implementation plans, and then
executes on those plans to provide new or improved software functionality.
On a continual basis: analyzes processes in the organization, how the
commercial software is used within those processes, and then recommends
changes that improve operational efficiencies.
Participates in IT projects for the organization, or involving any process
that is related to the commercial product.
Performs installation, upgrade, and maintenance of commercial software
packages in partner****p with the IT Infrastructure group and other business
unit team members.
Troubleshoots system problems and provides customer sup****t for commercial
software applications.
Collaborates with other Business Systems personnel to ensure all instances
of the commercial software are harmonized and uniform.
Ensures IT controls put in place to comply with Sarbanes-Oxley and FDA
regulations are maintained and strictly followed.
Participates in cross-functional efforts to address business or system
issues.
Maintains system do***entation for the software system.
Ensures users, are appropriately trained in the use of the software
systems required to perform their function.
Position Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Management Information Services with a focus on
manufacturing, or equivalent experience.
Minimum 3 to 5 years experience as an IT professional in Pharmaceutical
Manufacturing.
In-depth knowledge of business system processes and tools.
Minimum 2 years experience installing, sup****ting, tuning, and enhancing
the Great Plains ERP (Microsoft Dynamics GP) system or equivalent product
(SAP, Oracle).
Knowledge of Sarbanes-Oxley IT controls.
Experience in FDA Validated systems development
Experience in providing hands-on customer sup****t and application
troubleshooting
Experience working in a project team environment
