Description: We are seeking a dynamic Senior Systems Administrator who
is a Window systems expert, enjoys working with cutting edge technology
and strives for excellence. The Senior Systems Administrator will be
working on critical systems and shared infrastructure where exceptional
ideas drive decision making.
Some of the projects that our IT Department is currently working on:
Exchange 2007 Migration -- implementing an Exchange 2007 geo-cluster
environment to reduce client downtime, allow for online maintenance, and
sup****t our business continuity initiatives
Unified Messaging -- Installing a VOIP solution integrated with Live
Communications Server to provide soft phone dialing and online presence
information to users, and a highly available storage location for voice
mail/faxes in Exchange 2007
VMware Virtualization Initiative
Position Responsibilities:
Conceptualizing, building and deploying systems management and automation
technologies for a Windows environment
Defining and executing ongoing administration and health maintenance
plans, procedures, and operations
Diagnosing and resolving advanced problem; acting as senior technical
resource for several systems administrators
Researching and implementing new monitoring technologies
Position Requirements:
Windows 2003 Active Directory
Backup and Disaster Recovery
Virtualization, VMware VI3
Windows based clustering technologies
College degree required. B.S. in Computer Science, Engineering, or
Mathematics preferred.
MCSE or MCP certifications (or equivalent experience)
